No Spam is allowed. No Links to advertisement is allowed – especially in the signature. No advertisement is allowed without my permission.
If specific brand-named products are mentioned, it should be evident from the post that it is useful to the conversation rather than being simply advertisement for the product.
Otherwise, the post is subject to deletion or modification and the user is immediately banned.
Unfortunately, a very aggressive group of spammers from China are attacking the forum. Some of this may have been automated.
As of 11/13/2012, I banned nearly everyone who joined the forum since 10/1/2012 who had no posts.
