I personally would not use any whitening products from the stores. I think one should go 2 a professional and get it done.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond and give me the information you shared. I just find it very difficult to eat liver, that is why I was wandering about the liver tablets, because it’s more of a pill form, and easier to deal with mentally for me of what I am putting into my mouth. I eat mostly chicken and fish and have swayed away from meat because of the prions in it.

I just began doing the NeuroCleanse, which is the #1 selling, complete, Body, Nerve and Cell detox and cleanse system. It supposedly is the only true cellular detox. I know quite a lot of people that have done this and had great results. If your interested, you can find more information on it at: maximizedlivingdrkells.com

I would first consult with your physician though before trying it.

Is it better to just eat fish a few times a week, or to take fish oil daily?

Thank u for the info. I spoke to my friend a bit ago on the phone and he is going to speak to his mom, and she may be making an appointment to come to the office soon. She lives not far from there.

She really wants to get better.

    Inflammation would make since.

I suppose there could be many things going on within her body..the question would be what could be causing the inflammation within her body? She is in her 60’s. I was thinking about it today, and I wander if a homeopathic detoxification kit like Heel Detox, may help get rid of some of the impurities in her body that is causing her so much distress with being allergic to everything?

I just studied this in a class I took. I learned that Psychological Conditions pertaining to ED include: depression, guilt, worry, stress, and anxiety, which all contribute to loss of libido and ED. If a man experiences loss of erection, he may worry that it will happen again. This can produce anxiety associated with performance and may lead to chronic problems during sex. If the cycle is inescapable, it can result in impotence. Psychological factors in impotence are often secondary to physical causes, and they magnify their significance.

U also need to look at any surgeries that u may have had that involved the bladder or prostrate and pelvic and spinal cord injuries. Any of this may have affect on nerves supplying the penis or involved in maintaining an erection.

Low testosterone levels can also cause impotence along with several types of prescription drugs.

Lifestyle factors are important too. If u lack physical exercise, carrying any extra weight, or use alcohol or tobacco, u can cause damage to blood vessels and nerves. With the lifestyle factors, it may exist alone or be accompanied by psychological factors such as depression.

I’m not a physician, but I just thought I would share with u what I learned. I think seeing a psychotherapist is a great idea. I actually have heard that group psychotherapy for ED is very beneficial as well. It really depends upon ur personality factor of what is better for u.

Just curious..have you ever tried digestive enzymes? I use to have the same issue with certain pills I took or even food I ate, and this helped me a lot. I went to many gastro docs and none of them told me about the digestive enzymes.

I also have heard that if you drink 2-4 ounces of organic, stabilized, aloe vera juice every day, it can help balance out your digestive juices in your stomach. I have not tried this though.

I know and understand how it can be frustrating, because I have been there. If you could just find out whether you are for sure creating too much acid or not enough..that would answer a lot.

Thank You..I completely understand what you are saying. I will check the link out.

I will also keep your daughter in my prayers. I know how you must be feeling right now. I am experiencing the same thing with my mother, which the doctors are sending to a surgeon.

I really appreciate you taking the time pmgamer18, to share your personal story and give me your advice. I really felt it was stress. I have never had chest pain like this before. I think my body has been impacted from me just being overwhelmed lately. I have had a trauma occur in my life recently, which has hurt me greatly and really broke me down. I know in result, this has not helped my hormone levels, which I already have issues with.

Being a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, I am aware with clients how stress can affect an individual. What annoys the heck out me..is the fact that when I go to most doctors, they don’t want to really look into how ones Thyroid and Adrenals are affected when an individual is hit with a great amount of stress. I agree with you that it is good to learn how to deal with stress, and I think this is a personal area I can grow further in. I have a phone consult with a Physician on the 26th of this month for a f/u. I will see if I can get these labs done that you suggested, along with what he suggests. I know something is different within my body, because I feel different. We know our bodies best!

I am currently checking out a few Alternative Medicine Schools to take classes on the side, because I think this will really help me personally and as a Neuropsychologist. I want to be able to understand the body’s messages to determine the root cause of symptoms and perform effective corrections. Therapy help’s individuals, but I truly believe that the root cause of the issue needs to be addressed, and many times for individuals; hormones, and both the structure and functioning of the brain, works off of each other, along with how they are balanced emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Wow..Sarah, I am so sorry that you have been through everything that you have experienced. You have had a lot to endure. You are a strong individual to come through everything as you have..even though you have a lot of unanswered questions and concerns.

Have you spoke to your Psychiatrist regarding the specific occurrences of when all of your symptoms began, or what the trigger might have been? You have a lot of things going on right now, and I would personally advise you to take one step at a time. What I mean is.. focus first on what the main symptom is and work on down from that. We often times try to fix everything at once, and it just does not work-out good when we do this. It can become very flustering.

I am realizing more and more that many times, (not all cases though), hormonal issues can have an effect on the outcome of diagnosis, and if not ruled out first..one can be on meds and diagnosed with many different diagnosis, but never get better, because the root of the problem was never addressed. I am not a physician though..so this is just my advise. You may want to get your hormones checked out. Also..as crazy as this may sound, if you have been in any car accidents, or have had any injuries to your back and/or neck area, you may want to get these checked out to see if this could be having an effect on you with your system.

    Just some thoughts..

Thank you for sharing your thoughts Geno. This has just been something that I have wondered, but don’t really hear a lot about. I understand that females tend to produce more “Oxytocin”, rather than males; and this is why they tend to be more the nurturing type. With this in thought..it made me think of how the proper or improper amount of “Oxytocin”, in one’s body may affect the outcome of how he/she responds emotionally and what he/she can or is not able to feel.

I personally think that stress and depression from “toxic stress”, may affect this. In our society today, we have such a burden of the typical profile of an individual having a difficult workplace, or running a home and or raising a family, ect. These are the most adverse kinds of stress, because they are POWERFUL and CONSTANT. I’m not a doctor, but I think this stress helps cause imbalances in hormones and neurotransmitters, which in effect..causes changes in our moods and mental function. In the case of depression, the body lacks sufficient serotonin (the neurotransmitter necessary to maintain positive mood). Thinking about how sensitive our bodies are..it really is important to make sure that our hormones and neurotransmitter signaling is correct.

I would agree with the advice that hardasnails1973 gave you. If you are able to seek help from Dr. Mariano..it would be beneficial to you. That is a long time to be on meds for 15 yrs and not feel different.

I have trouble with both. It is difficult for me to fall asleep and to stay asleep. I constantly wake-up. I have had a lot on my mind lately, so this has made my sleeping even worse. I have averaged between 3-4hrs a night for the last wk. As soon as I am awake, I can not go back to sleep. I feel like I am on the edge if it makes sense. I can not relax whatsoever. Having a lot of anxiety lately. I am also sweating bad for no reason like I was working out or something under my arm-pits. It’s crazy!

I see now how important it really is to keep ur hormones in level. If they are off, it can cause u a lot of trouble and also interfere with ur personal life. I am trying really hard to get my hormones back in check, because I don’t like how it has made me very emotional. I cry so easily. I just wish I had listened to someone very close to me that tried to help me over and over, and I just did not see at the time how it was really affecting me.

Thank you for taking the time machinehead to give me this information. I really do appreciate it. I will have to look further into this and see what these products are really like. For some reason when I take my 100mgs of progesterone the weeks I’m on it, it really helps me sleep. I relax more. I start it up again this Saturday and can’t wt to begin it again.

Hope u have a great vacation!

Don’t know a lot about this area..but I wander if Florinef would do anything for you?

    Hi Jean,

I know the body reacts to anxiety by releasing hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol, which together promote a psychotic paranoid response.

As far as Neurologically goes, I find it interesting how environmental influences affects us.
Research has found that EMF levels emitted by a CRT computer monitor or a television can produce the same paranoid sensation of someone watching you and can affect the brain for over an hour after exposure to the field.

Paranoia can be accompanied by a number of illnesses too. It’s association is with certain neurological conditions, such as temporal lobe epilepsy and some forms of dementia associated with aging, such as Alzheimer disease. The cause can be from repeated use of drugs such as cocaine or amphetamines. Paranoia is also known to be associated with mental disorders such as schizophrenia and paranoid personality disorder.
