I can’t seem to find a B-complex w/o folic acid anywhere. I’m trying to reduce the amount of pills I take daily so I do not want to take all B Vits separately
December 10, 2009 at 4:06 pm #3977hardasnails1973MemberThe best vitamin I use for clients is maxstress B by quantum labs…Its the most natural b you can get and its well absorbed and has all the cofactors of all b vitamins.
i use folinic and methyl/hydrox b-12 for undermethylation since elevated nitric oxide from inflammation is the primary reason you are low methylation in the first place. Silent inflammation is a killer in amercia and I’m just starting to put the pieces together thanks to Dr M and his knowledge of cytokines.

I used to contain methyl folate. If its a natural folate then from food base then it is the converted form. This is the one that i recommend..

December 14, 2009 at 6:12 pm #3982jasonshadowMemberWhat about Sam-E?
December 15, 2009 at 5:48 am #3979hardasnails1973Memberone needs to be careful so they do not get the cycle spining out of control. In people that are overtrained I suggest sam-e at 200 mgs 2 times a day to help replenish gluthione levels and the results have been very promising especailly for depression and anxiety. Again every ones biochemistry is different. I recommend starting out with 200 mgs for 2-3 days and see how they feel then increase it to 200 mgs 2 times a day. If any abnormal reaction it is stopped immediately.

Sam-e is one of the best supplements for depression provided that one has proper biochemistry. Most overtrained athletes respond really well.

I tried your recommendation of 200mg twice per day but found that I felt better with 400mg in the AM. I might try an additional 200mg later in they day but that might get a little expensive. (I defintely feel an increase in Dopamine)
January 3, 2010 at 4:55 pm #3985jasonshadowMemberWell after about 7-10 days of feeling really good I started to feel out of it. My cognition was just out of it. Very strange stuff. So I got off the Sam-E and now I’m feeling much better.
I just don’t get it.
