Just got my Hair Analysis
attached is 2008 and 2009 analysis.I have a diarrhea since about dec-08 when I started taking Chlorella.
It did not stopped after I stopped Chlorella a month latter.
I still have it for this day.
Colonoscopy revealed colon in good standing.
Genova’s CDSA 2.0 stool test oct-08 was also unremarkable.
I am able to control diarrhea eating 2-3 teaspoons of lecithin.
Nobody knows why would Lecithin be helpful.
I take Lecithin because years ago I was told to eat it with (AMP-Molo-Cure), also helpful with digestive disorders. Now, I think that my diarrhea may have to do with a boatload of magnesium I am taking.
I stared taking it because it was relieving my leg cramps.
It actually helps a lot, I am not getting muscle cramps at all.At first it did not make sense.
my blood magnesium5/27/2009—2.0(1.5-2.5)mg/dL
Previously was also within range (cant find the test)but my hair magnesium that is different story
5/27/2008—5(11-122)
6/3/2009—-13(11-122)—on 4 magnesium pills for a year and halfNow I increased my magnessium intake from 4 to 6 500mg caps
I take LEF
Magnesium Caps, 500 mg 100 capsules Item Catalog Number 00264Magnesium
(as magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride, magnesium aspartate, magnesium succinate, magnesium amino acid chelate )
Cutting to the chase,I need better magnessium.
something that would not cause runs, but got absorbed by my system. At one time I was using
Natural calm
and
Cal-Mag
http://choicenutritionals.combut did not feel much difference
======================
Or is there another idea??
How to absorb magnesium from food?
What affects magnesium absorption?
========================================July 20, 2009 at 2:55 am #2759DrMariano2ParticipantMagnesium plus water is a laxative.
Excessive Magnesium intake will cause diarrhea.
If Magnesium used to treat muscle cramps is causing diarrhea, then this poses a significant problem nutritionally since diarrhea will impair absorption of nutrients.
Thus, if diarrhea occurs, I may have to look for another treatment for muscle cramps – or look for the actual cause of muscle cramping and address that instead.

I am controlling diarrhea by using Lecithin.
So on the daily basis I do not have diarrhea.
But anytime I stop lecithin, diarrhea returns the next day.Looking at my hair analysis I was deficient in magnesium in 2008 and am improved in 2009.
I am able to control muscle cramps (when they come) by using quinine.
But that does not make a sense to me since I clearly proved to myself that I have mineral imbalance. Cramps are relieved with use of magnesium.I am looking for ways to hold to magnesium, among other minerals.
My Ca/Mg ratio was a way out of bounds, now that ratio is good,
but
I am low on both Ca an MgHow to hold on to them?
Any known reasons for this?
