    Hi all,

    This is going to sound a little crazy but stay with me. Recently, I have been feeling very tipsy when I first wake up in the morning (distorted thoughts, not with reality, etc.) when I first wake up. It’s a weird feeling and it seems to follow me throughout most of the day. Sometimes, it can get bad but other times I can handle it.

    I often have this weird sensation where my eyes burn, almost like they are not getting enough moisture.

    Anyway, I am bringing this up because it is bothersome. I am currently taking 180mg of Armour Thyroid, 1 mg of Lorazepam, and 10 mg of Ritalin.

    With sleep deprivation, one can be in a more pro-inflammatory state which can impair mental function, slowing metabolism, etc.

    Sleep deprivation may also force the brain to take microbursts of sleep or have parts of the brain take turns sleeping. This may slow processing needed to be consciously alert and aware.

    One sleep deprived individual may respond seconds later to questions, for example, yet think he or she is responding immediately.

    Conscious thought can be distorted in timing when the left brain interpreter isn’t working well with sleep deprivation.
