Low ferritin – goal 125-150 (low thyroid affecting DIT)
low co2 – metabolic alkalosis – potential sleep apnea
high ft4 – thyroid pooling from low cortisol
    vitamin d – low (60-70 goal) 10,000 ius of D a day for 8 weeks retest
severe hypoglycemia – chromium, adrenal imbalances low cortisol
low bun – protein malabsorption – celiac
metabolic syndrome – low thyroid primary cause.

Just need to clarify a few things…
Could all of this be celiac?
Could all of this be caused by low thyroid?
Or do you think I have a combination of issues?

    Thanks again!

It can be caused by both so i would explore all options. We are finding celiac and gliaden sensitivity in more and more people these days.

I’m no doctor but I had TT levels of 227 with LH of 1.5. Everyone is different, but most (not all) people with those levels of LH are usually in the normal range in terms of TT.
HAN—Would something non-organic like stress/depression etc. usually cause hypogonadism at the testicular level or the pituitary level?

Also, don’t fall into the trap of “oh, maybe I drank too much Dr. Pepper” or “I did this wrong”…failing to look at the big picture will not only cause you to be too hard on yourself, but you may miss the underlying cause. Cutting out Diet Dr. Pepper won’t cause a miraculous rebound in your symptoms and you will probably just miss out on your favorite beverage. I’m the same way and I hate to see people fall victim to the same trap.

Well, I can’t wait any longer. I started supplementing today and am open to suggestions of supplements as well as amounts. Thanks for your help!

I am going to pick up some iron later today but here’s what I’ve taken so far:

    -5000 MCG Vitamin B12
    -1000 MG Vitamin C
    -2000 I.U. Vitamin D
    -standard multi-vitamin and mineral formula
-I already take prescirption fish oil called Lovaza

What else should I be taking?

Here’s my labs with ranges. If there are multiple results they go from oldest to newest, left to right.

I am going to see a Dr. Mariano in california in a few weeks. Hopefully he will be able to help. I am just sick and tired of being exhausted, unmotivated, etc. Any suggestions, comments would be appreciated.

I bolded items I thought stood out even if some are in range. Some are obviously out of range too.

I think someone mentioned they thought that could mean I am primary low T but I’ve never had any trauma or anything, no lumps, etc.

I go to see Dr. M tomorrow. I can’t wait!!

I saw Dr. Mariano on Friday. I don’t know how much I can say so I’ll be conservative. He mapped out a treatment plan that I am starting on right away. I am going to take some meds that I need but I can change some things too, like my diet. I have already started that, elminating grains and caffeine. I am going to pickup “Nourishing Traditions” soon so I can figure out what else is ok to eat. It’s not going to be easy but I’m so sick of not feeling well that I am willing to tough it out.

Dr. Mariano was very professional and he’s the first doc I’ve ever trusted in any way. He just doesn’t think like all the others. He considers how you feel and how you act which most doctor’s don’t.
