Dr. M,
Would you think it’s normal to experience pitted edema in both ankles and calves at the end of the day after spending nearly 8 hour in class ?
I know of more dire issues underlying this, like heart failure, liver failure, myxedema to name a few, but I’m not ready to jump to any hasty conclusions. However this is not a symptom but a sign, so I’m still taking this seriously in a manner of speaking.
The reason I’m intrigued is I’ve spent long hours sat at a desk before and didn’t get that. I know that standing for hours can do that, but found nothing medical about sitting.
Thanks
