5htp and Carbidopa for Premature ejaculation

Hey Dr. Mariano,

For the last ten months iv been suffering from Premature ejacualtion. A neurotransmitter test I took indicated that my levels were as follows

GABA low
Serotonin low
Dopamine low
Epinephrine low
Norepinephrine low
PEA low

I also had an amino acid test done where my phenylalanine was elevated above range but the precursors tryptophan, Glutamine, tyrosine were all in range. It seems I may be deficient in BH4 but thats another story.

Do you think if someone used the 5htp alongside carbidopa it would help Cure PE. In my case its not like I need to reduce norepinephrine which as I understand is the signal for ejaculation but instead I need to increase my serotonin and possibly GABA. Iv tried 5htp but it only helped when i took it in very high doses for several days before sex. I suppose enough of it actually got into the brain to have an effect in those cases. I think carbidopa would be the key to this. Have you ever seen success with this method? I would hate to have to try ssris.
