    Metformin look interesting for the prevention of some cancers, it’s help to increase AMK, new neurons.

    Metformin can cause an imbalance between the brain’s need for gluconeogenesis and the livers ability to provide sugar for the brain. This is one reason I would have to carefully weigh the risks and benefits of treatment, particularly if one does not have insulin resistance.

    May be berberine is a good option to increase AMPK with exercise.

    Metformin generally needs to be coupled to a treatment that increases insulin sensitivity more evenly than it. This would help reduce the risk of treatment with Metformin alone.
