Hello all,
Some background. I’m 29 years old, 5’11, 200lbs. I have been on TRT (cyp, hcg, adex) for 2.5 years now. I used AAS on and off for several years prior to starting TRT. I was under the assumption that TRT would be great for me as my Total T levels were already low prior to ever touching AAS.
Initially, I felt great however now, I feel horrible. I am severely fatigued and my mental cognition seems to get worse every week. I am a self employed programmer and now I’m practically unable to work to support myself. I noticed early signs of cognition issues earlier this year / late last year.
I feel slightly better after a meal, but only for a short while. Sometimes I feel better after about 6pm for a few hours as well, even if I haven’t ate.
I’ve been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and we’re looking at cortisol as well. Here is some thyroid info from recent labs:
TSH 5.6 (0.450 – 4.500)
Thyroxine (T4) Free, Direct, S 1.31 (0.82 – 1.77)
Reverse T3 – 328 (90 – 350)My question is, can TRT induce this type of thyroid / adrenal imbalance? I don’t ever remember feeling this horrible before. If I were able to successfully restart my HPTA is it possible that these things hormones would “realign” themselves?
Here are some labs if anyone would like to see more:

Wow, can’t believe I missed this thread: http://www.definitivemind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=576
This definitely sheds some light on my situation. 10mcg of T3 twice a day (to lower RT3) doesn’t seem to be having any affect on me. I’m almost inclined to say that I’m feeling worse.
I feel so tired all day long. I can’t work. I can’t think straight. I feel like the living dead. I have no motivation and it is killing me psychologically, this isn’t me! I’ve always been a go getter. I’ve been self employed since the age of 21. Now I don’t even want to think about work. The days are uneventful. I’m a mess.
I’m so in the dark here. I’m worried that I won’t be able to get that back. I hope that this is all just a thyroid issue that I can overcome.
