About ten months ago, I decided to go to the doctor after suffering from: horrible quality of sleep (despite getting 7 hrs a night and only waking up once to go to the bathroom), severe fatigue, crashing after exercise, sometimes being too exhaused to exercise, severe cognitive problems and getting tired after eating (a lower carb diet helped this alot). I had good sex drive and erections just no energy to go out and live a life. It is seemed my sexual functions were the only things that were working properly.
The only medicine I was taking at that time was hydrocortisone at 15 mg a day. The only lab my doc took was testosterone and it was at 5:30 pm.
Total Testosterone 248 (250-1100)
I should have had my doc retest testosterone in the morning along with a bunch of other labs, but I thought testosterone would give me my life back. Testosterone has not worked out for me for several reasons and a new treatment has been found that should hopefully help me. So I quit testosterone after 10 months. I am in my mid 20s.
Dr. M I am worried about using nolvadex or clomid because of possible side effects for restarting my natural testosterone production.
Will my testosterone levels ever return to their natural levels?
How long does it take for testosterone levels to naturally recover?
