May 14, 2010 at 5:13 pm #4279wapf fanMemberThere is a wonderful book called “Eat Fat Lose Fat” by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig. It is not low-fat, boring, starve yourself diet garbage. It is about REAL food that was put on the earth for us to enjoy! Low-fat does not work as you can see when you look around you. The grocery stores are filled with low-fat food and still we are sick and overwieght. You can Google the book to get an idea about what it is about. You do not need to starve yourself or suffer to lose weight and feel great! And honestly I’ve looked at MANY books on health and nutrition and I am amazed that almost every one of them suggest you eat foods that are so dangerous like canola oil and soy products. This book is a great guide on how to lose weight, get healthy and a quick lesson on what real food is. Good luck!
May 18, 2010 at 6:09 am #4273AnonymousGuestThe truth is that there are Laura miracle diets. I struggle every day with being overweight, and I think I’m fine now, but I repeat it daily lunch. Healthy eating, exercise, professional help, and lot of will and faith. Learn to cook healthy food, I am already an expert, Entertain something else to distract you, one does not, what you like, crafts, music, social assistance. And above all, control your visits to the supermarket, go with a list and choose healthy food. Luck….

July 13, 2010 at 4:41 pm #4275AnonymousGuestBook got a month or so ago, and really like it. I coconut oil at Walmart, and I could handle it “kind and copra is not a virgin, because it’s not very expensive. I have been using it for weeks, and decided I was bouncing to some good stuff mail order. Enig “Tropical Traditions” Oil is recommended for the past week, I naturally expeller-pressed coconut oil tastes different from that of a gallon of all ordered a gallon. It was expenive, but I hope worth it! Have not yet found.
Enig is not allowed more carbs Atkins, and even as a small amount allows natural maple sugar. I think it is these “Those that can afford this type of plan for maintenance,’re on. Some grains are allowed, and are “soaked” (fermented) before hand in some way. But I’m sticking with Atkins for about 40 or less carbs, and especially coconut oil and butter’m using now.
August 2, 2010 at 9:38 am #4276AnonymousGuestObesity and overweight have always been with us, but they are now the norm rather than the exception. Almost two-thirds of Australian men and about half of Australian women are overweight or obese. Obesity in Australian children appears to have doubled in recent years.and with it comes an increase in obesity-related metabolic disease, such as type 2 diabetes, dyslipidaemia, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease.
