Now i have tried chinese herbal medicine before and do use it regularly with varying success but their is this particular practitioner i see here sometimes who prescribes these extremely effective herbs.

    This is his website: http://www.bestmedicine.com.au/

Have a look at their contents:

    He prescribed two formulas:

Health Logic Improve Digestion (5 pills three times a day):

    hordeum vulgare
    atractyloides macrocephala
    panax gingseng
    crataegus pinnatifida
    citrus aurantium
    citrus nobilis

Health Logic Improve Nervous System and Blood Circulation (10 pills three times a day):

    rehmannia chinensis
    scrophularia ningpoensis
    polygala sibirica
    poria cocos
    lycium chinense

    biota orientalls
    ophiopogon japonicus
    angelica polymorpha
    glycyrrhiza uralensis

I am just wondering why they are so effective?

I have hashimoto’s thyroiditis and am on a dessicated thyroid extract. Also recently revealed i have low aldosterone elevated renin and issues with cortisol levels. So are these herbs basically adaptogens working to increase my aldosterone and regulate my cortisol levels? or are their other benefits like possibly improving the absorption of food from the gastrointestinal tract amongst other things.

Since my friend came back from china. He said he would never buy chinese herbs again after seeing how they are really made and processed. Many chinese herbs in the little black balls contain high levels of heavy metals such as mercury and alliumum. After attendending class this past week and finding out that alot of the mutlivitamins out there are loaded in alluminum. I think I am going to start to look for a new liquid multivitamin probably intramax again. Its pricey but its got it all in it, plus my green vibrance.

I was previously taking chinese herbs for a a couple months. But the practitioner i saw i asked about whether or not they contained any heavy metals and he told me no. But since my real issues are hormonal related its best to leave these herbs behind, as they can just end up doing more damage.
