Been on 3 tabs Iodoral for few weeks and all it’s done is give me slight energy. It has not done anything for fixing estrogen metabolism. I took a test months ago and the results showed that I had estrogen imbalances which is probably why I have weak erection and weak morning wood as well as no libido. My estrogen ratio was off by a good amount. I am taking trans-resveratrol along with TMG, and calcium D glucarate. I do not feel any difference from that. All my other hormones like testosterone, thyroid, and adrenals have been properly evaluated and treated and have yielding excellent lab results. I did take dim a few years back and moring erection improved then.
Which is stronger for proper conversion of bad estrogen into good estrogens Iodoral or DIM?
I’ve read many people have achieved great results on Iodoral, but many have been on it for a long period of time without changing their estrogen metabolism that much.
Should I stack both?

For iodine to work you need co factors
I recommend my clients to do the folllowing
200 mgs of b-2
vitamin C 2000 mgs a day
500 mgs niacinaminde
1/2 tsp of celtic seasalts. These factors will help to stimulate the Iodine transport system which Dr Brownstein talks about in his book and on his website.
September 17, 2009 at 12:40 pm #3505DSmossMemberSo iodoral will only work on converting bad estrgen to good estrogens if I add those supplemt to my regime? Doesn’t DIM work without those pretty fast? How long before seeing results if I start supplementing with those supplements? Weeks or months?

Iodoral converts bad estrogens to estriol which takes strain off of the methylation pathways
Reservatrol also helps with 4 hydrox estrones
Dim changes conversion from 16 to 2 at greater rate, but proper methylation is needed for 2 hydro estrones to be biological active
One still has to keep in mind that quiones need also be taken care through proper antioxidant levels. -
