I posted my personal situation involving this medication in the “Hormones and Neurotransmitters” part of the forum, so my answer might come from someone in that thread.

I am interested in knowing what effects long acting opiate have on neurotransmitters and what one should do if they had to take a long acting opiate medication on a long term basis? Should one try to balance the high dopamine levels caused by the opiate with 5HTP to try to boost Serotonin? Any thoughts or information is appreciated
